As we all know October is and has been a very busy month filled with so many wonderful fun ideas and events and not to mention all the CIS due dates and deadlines. Well, Rebecca has managed to conquer it all! From meeting ALL October CIS due dates, to meeting with students and providing intentional services, maintaining and adding additional students to her caseload, attending regular scheduled meetings with her principal, to assisting and managing unexpected student needs on campus, to collaborating with the school counselor providing a 4 week bullying education program and organizing a campus wide Kindness BINGO Activity in honor of UNITY DAY, to engaging the students and staff in a crafty pink flamingo competition in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and inviting the Kindness BINGO winners along with LISD Superintendent and ETTA'S CEO in to judge the crafts, to hosting parent meetings inviting community partners into the school to share their program initiatives, to seeking donations and recently receiving a huge monetary donation for her program, to always seeking ways and opportunities to celebrate student success and staff appreciation, all the while being an outstanding mentor to her intern..... AND she's still standing and pressing forward 100 miles per hour with a very BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL SMILE. REBECCA, GIRL YOU ARE TRULY AMAZING AND GREATLY APPRECIATED for ALL YOU DO!! KEEP IT UP!"
